How to Use:

With a simple weekly format, this program will print in the exact order you need everything.  Most families will print the program front to back and place it inside a 3-ring binder.  Teach your child by reviewing the number of the week each morning. Here is a weekly overview of the included daily activities:

Colorful Number Charts

Introduce students to the number of the week with a colorful chart that features a ten frame and ASL hand signs.  These charts look beautiful when hung throughout the classroom for an easy reference. Students build number recognition and ASL skills.

Playdough Number Mats

Students can use playdough to form and frame the number of the week. Encourage students to roll small balls to represent the number, then squash them as they count. This is great for building one-to-one correspondence.

Number Handwriting Worksheets

Students work on number formation and early handwriting skills as they practice writing the number. Text sizes slowly get smaller as they work their way down the page. A drawing prompt encourages students to draw and count.

Dab & Dot Number Mazes

Students dab their way through the number maze. Markers or stickers can be used in place of bingo daubers. Encourage students to say the number aloud each time they dab. Students work on Number recognition skills.

Preschool Math Worksheets

Students complete a variety of number-building tasks and activities. Skills include drawing, coloring, number words, fine motor mazes and more. Additionally, each activity page includes hands-on prompts such as; build a tower, clap, and count, jump and count…etc..

Number BINGO & Bracelets

Each week students are rewarded with Number bracelets. These bracelets include the number of the week and room for students to count and stick on the correct number of stickers. Number BINGO is provided as an end-of-the-course activity.

We like it! I wouldn’t change a thing. If you have a preschooler of different ages this is great too. It have something for my 4 year old and my 2 year old. I as a parent particularly love the bright colorful number of the week printout that I can display for the week. It makes it so easy when they don’t know the number to say “Ok go count the black dots” and see them discover what the number is.

This is a great way to start math for early learners. I suggest starting this WITH the Letter of the Week program.
We started this late and my son loves the math work. I tried doing a number a day to try to catch him up, but that ended in a lot of tears for him (and me).
