My older kids were doing this but on a much harder scale my 4th grader wanted to do what her big sisters were doing so we got this for her to start her own. She loved it. We uses this in our charting and lapbooking our way through the elements and added in some fun activities like wanted posters and news articles about the element in question etc, it was definitely fun.
