How to Use:
Each writing prompt is designed to allow students to complete the activity independently. Students are asked a simple question, and then given a writing template to follow in order to answer the question. The word bank contains any words the student might need to personalize the response. Students copy and write their answers on the shaped writing templates. Then, students cut out their writing and glue it inside their composition notebook.
What’s Included:
Each monthly pack includes 20 interactive writing prompts for beginning writers. It is recommended that students keep all of their writing samples in their own notebook. This will serve as a keepsake and a portfolio of work.
REQUIRED MATERIALS:
· 1 Wide-Ruled Notebook or Composition Notebook/student. Note that some cut-outs might not fit in the smaller composition style books, so a general wide-ruled spiral notebook is recommended.
· Pencil
· Scissors
· Glue Stick
· Crayons or Colored Pencils.

I loved it and my students did too! I use it weekly for our writing lessons. I love that my kindergarteners can create complex sentences independently. They work on spelling and conventions and grow as writers with this resource! Thank you!

My student loves how much these prompts make writing fun! Prior to this, my student wasn’t interested in writing, but now asks to do his “journal “! I definitely recommend this resource!

used this interactive resource with my kinders and I can’t wait to use it again with my new set of kinders this coming school year. I am super excited for them to be engaged and have an appealing visual during our writing block.

I only purchased this resource a couple weeks ago and my students have already used several pages from it. This has been extremely helpful with my learners that struggle.

I am super excited about this bundle. It supports my students who struggle with writing and incorporates cutting skills which they also struggle with. On a personal note, I love this for my own child who just entered kindergarten. She enjoys the graphics and art aspects of it. Thank you.
